Recent statistics show that crime is on the rise for the first time in years. All indications are that this trend may continue for the next few years and thus the need for better protection for yourself and your property continues to also rise. Many recent technological advances make defending and protecting your home, office, or retail storefront more affordable than ever before. Because of its affordability security cameras, hidden / covert cameras, and basic surveillance equipment have become mainstream. In fact many insurance companies now give small businesses and home owners discounts on their insurance rates for having surveillance and security equipment installed in their buildings.
If this isn’t reason enough to take action, the federal government has made millions of dollars available in the form of grants through the Department of Homeland Security. Public schools and businesses all across the United States are applying and receiving these allocated funds to improve both their security and surveillance capabilities.
